Groovy Chic

   One thing I LOVE doing is looking through    old books, magazines, family photos and movies.  I love going back in decades and looking at what people used to wear, what their style was.  It's always so exciting and inspiring when creating my own style.  It's been known that fashion always comes back around.  Certain looks my mom used to wear when she was young came back when I was in HS and now they are coming back again!!  Which is why I sometimes save certain/different things because I know one day my daughter (If I ever have one lol) or maybe my nieces will wear it too.  Some of my favorite decades is of course the 60's and 70's.  They have such a fun, retro vintage colorful look with all their crazy prints and patterns.  Going along with my "platform wedge" writeup, a look that is back and huge for this Fall/Winter 2011 is the 60's retro style mixed with the 70's bohemian flow.  Not even just with clothes but also with hair and makeup. Check out the theme/mood boards below.  I hope you get yourself something groovy this Fall/Winter.
